Amanda is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science, focusing on Medical Microbiology & Immunology and Political Science, while also obtaining a Certificate in Religious Studies. Ms. Murdoch continued her schooling at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee pursuing postbaccalaureate studies in Biomedical Science and conducting research in a murine model of Multiple Sclerosis. Thereafter, she attended Indiana University – Indianapolis earning her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2015.
Amanda has been working in Emergency Medicine since 2015. She has worked at a multitude of medical facilities, from Level 1 trauma centers to community hospitals, specializing in diagnosing, treating and managing acute and life-threatening conditions providing rapid assessment and treatment to patients of all ages.
Amanda joined the staff of B+A Surgeons in 2022 and has seen a wide range of patients including pre and post-operative bariatric and general surgery patients. She is well versed in medical weight loss, as she worked to initiate the program at B+A Surgeons. She is also extensively trained in bio-identical hormone therapy.
Outside of medicine, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. They enjoy traveling and attending various sporting events.
