With over 12 years of dedicated experience in the field of bariatrics, Amita is committed to ensuring every patient’s seamless journey through the bariatric process. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Texas in Austin (Hook ’em, Longhorns!), she initially ventured into counseling bariatric pre and post-surgical patients.
Currently serving as a coordinator, Amita’s role is to guide you from your initial inquiry through to a successful surgical transition. Her expertise lies in surgery scheduling, ensuring that each patient receives the care and attention they deserve.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Amita finds joy in exploring new cuisines during her travels and cherishes quality time with family and friends.
